WA winter NTS camp is being held on Friday 26th   to Sunday 28th of August

Sessions will be Friday Afternoon, AM & PM Session Saturday & Sunday

On the Avon River in Walyunga National Park (grade 2 rapid)

In the event the water level is too low at Walyunga, the camp will be held at Swan Canoe Club, Ascot Kayak Club and Hester Park.

The camp is open to everyone with some white water experience (not for complete beginners) but preference will be given to NTS paddlers for spaces and coaching. The camp includes coached paddling sessions, meals and talks. The camp runs from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

Cost for the camp is $100 (or $50 for one day.) Lunches are included (no lunch on Friday.)

Proposed Saturday Evening Dinner – meet at Alfred’s Kitchen Guildford – order your own meal, they have a railway carriage available but not able to be booked, so we need to get there not long after 5pm to secure it, otherwise they have a beaut fire pit and seating around it – Alfred’s Kitchen is the longest running roadside burger kitchen in Perth, Australia, beckoning passersby with an outdoor fire, ample seating, and mouth-watering aromas our famous burgers on the grill. Interstate paddlers would be able to fly in Friday morning and leave Sunday late afternoon. Accommodation for visiting paddlers can be arranged with WA paddlers as we travel to and from the camp from home each day. Please contact: Lucy Williams:  lucy.williams@westnet.com.au
