2018 Australian Canoe Slalom Championships and National Junior Slalom Championships – Preliminary Information

The 2018 Australian Canoe Slalom Championships are jointly organised by Paddle Vic (Canoeing Victoria) in partnership with Paddle Australia (Australian Canoeing).

As such the Victorian Slalom Nationals Organising Committee (VSNOC) is looking forward to hosting the 2018 Australian Canoe Slalom Championships and National Junior Slalom Championships*  between the 4th January to 12th January 2018.
The location for these Championships is on the Goulbourn River adjacent to the Outdoor Education Group Campus, Back Eildon Road, Eildon.

To help you get started with your preparations for these Championships, we are reaching out to provide you with the information on event scheduling and accommodation.   It is anticipated that additional information and Event Registration process will be communicated to you within the next few weeks.

These Championships will be held on the Goulbourn River adjacent to the Outdoor Education Group and Bluegums Riverside Holiday Park, 746 Back Eildon Road, Eildon (3.9 kilometres from Thornton / 4.2 kilometres from Eildon, VICTORIA).

Outdoor Education Group (OEG)
The VSTC has arranged for Unpowered Camping sites at OEG. With close, easy river access to the event site, camping facilities include:
·         Hot showers (male and female)
·         Toilets (males and female)
·         Shared indoor kitchen facilities (including fridge and industrial stove) and dining area
·         BBQ area

Bluegum Riverside Caravan Park
Located next to OEG, Bluegum Riverside Caravan Park has a combination of unpowered camping, powered camping sites and cabins.
