Membership

Club membership: Join a club. You get a real sense of belonging. You get to hang out with people just like yourself, develop your paddling skills, join in on fun activities and build your friendship base. Membership fees are very reasonable and affordable. Check club websites below for more details.

Direct Membership: beneficial for paddlers who may not have a local club to paddle at, or do not wish to join, yet receive the same member benefits and insurance coverage.

Direct Membership Cost

Senior Direct Membership costs $85, and is valid for 1 year from the purchase date.

Junior Direct Membership costs $60, and is valid for 1 year from the purchase date.

Volunteer Membership

There is an option for volunteer membership if you have an appropriate reason (eg non paddling parent, event official or non paddling volunteer).

Price Increases From 1st June 2023

Paddle Australia and Paddle WA are increasing their membership fees by CPI from the 1 June 2023. For an adult member this will be an extra $11.00 per year resulting in a well needed increase to Paddle WA income ie $5 PA/$6 PWA = approximately $9,000.00 (GST inc) increase to the PWA finances.

Senior Membership: $101.00
+ Club Membership fee for 12 months. Includes: $56.00 to Paddle WA and $45.00 to Paddle Australia

Junior Membership (under 18): $56.00
+ Club Membership fee for 12 months. Includes: $33.50 to Paddle WA and $22.50 to Paddle Australia

V-Insurance Group is the appointed insurance broker for Paddle Australia, giving all members access to their diverse insurance program. The program incorporates six covers including:

Public & Products Liability, Professional Indemnity, Personal Accident, Management Liability (Directors & Officers Liability), Group Travel, Cyber Liability
