Choosing a Life Jacket

Life jackets are an essential piece of safety equipment, keeping the paddler afloat in the event of a capsize. There are many different types of life jackets depending on the intended use.

For paddling, a Level 50 or 50S life jacket provides a sufficient amount of floatation, even in rough and moving water.
