Vacancies on the Paddle WA Board
At the 2022 AGM in September, Paddle WA will have three vacancies to the Paddle WA Board open to members and independent directors.
Vacancies are for the following positions:
2x Elected Board Members – must be a current financial member of Paddle WA, by holding a club or direct membership
1x Independent Board Member – must be a person from outside Paddle WA’s membership base
Elected Board Members can be on the board for a maximum of 2x consecutive 3-year terms, while Independent Board Members can only serve a maximum of 2x consecutive 2-year terms.
Paddle WA Board meetings are held monthly to discuss the running of the organisation, the financials, important matters and news, oversee the strategic direction of Paddle WA, and pass motions and important decisions. The Board consists of seven members, five being Elected members and two Independent members, and strives to be diverse in both cultural aspects, and in experience across all areas of paddling, and other sports or organisations.
